Release of Pressure

Trying to protect a horse from something that he’s afraid of only makes matters worse. The more you approach a horse with an object that scares him, then retreat when he stands still and shows you a sign of relaxing, the quieter and safer he’ll become. Horses don’t learn from pressure, they learn from the release of pressure.
