There are a lot of things that go wrong when people lack the knowledge and desire to address the root cause of a problem with a horse. A good example would be rather than teaching a horse to be confident and respectful in having his feet handled, people will resort to techniques that never address the real cause, which often makes matters worse by compromising the horse’s safety, making the horse more fearful, or the horse having to be drugged every time he needs his feet handled. Remember, quick fixes on a horse only last as long as it takes someone to put it on them. Frustration ends where knowledge and experience begins.
