Get To The Cause

There are a lot of things that go wrong when people lack the knowledge and desire to address the root cause of a problem with a horse. A good example would be rather than teaching a horse to be confident and respectful in having his feet handled, people will resort to techniques that never address the real cause, which often makes matters worse by compromising the horse’s safety, making the horse more fearful, or the horse having to be drugged every time he needs his feet handled. Remember, frustration ends where knowledge begins.

That is the truth, you don't fix a problem with just covering it up, it works in the moment but never for long time.
